Vendor Rules for the 2024 Swap Meet

 

  • Set up to be completed by 8:00 am on Sat. ,June 22th. We will be open at daybreak for early arrivals. No setups allowed on Friday June 21th.
  • Total of 30 booth sites. Twelve (12) 10×10 and eight (8) 10×15 inside a tent on grass which will be mowed short and hopefully treated with pesticide.   Ten (10) open parking lot spots for tailgate sales.  Booths are available on a first come, first served basis.
    Call Ray ASAP at 309-255-1939 to reserve a booth.  One (1) 6 ft. table will be provided and set in place.  Rubber pucks (4” square) will be under table legs and extras will be available if you bring your own table. These will be located in blue square buckets throughout the center aisle. Booths will be divided by roped blue flags. NO CHAIRS WILL BE PROVIDED.  You are welcome to check out your spot on Friday afternoon.
  • Items for sale/swap is to be limited to all makes of stoneware, pottery and related memorabilia.
  • Complimentary Donuts & Coffee will be served under the Museum entrance canopy. Complimentary water will be located in 8, 10 and 12 gallon crocks with blue lids throughout the complex.
  • Restrooms are in the museum building. However, two (2) outside porta potties (1 men/1 women) will be located outside and close to the vendor tents.
  • Hotel Reservation Information
    • Twenty (20) Rooms reserved under Stoneware Museum for night of Friday, June 21.
    • Call direct to AmericInn, (1 AmericInn Way, Monmouth) at 309-734-9958 for availability.
    • Reservations need to be made by Thursday, May 23 which is 30 days prior to the event. Due to weddings/family reunions, hotel rooms in the area are in short supply.  We encourage you to book as soon as you know you are coming.  As of 11/30 several rooms are already reserved.
    • Cost for a 1 or two adult room is $116 PLUS taxes.
  • Our event is free to all participants and will be held rain or shine. The Stoneware Museum is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items. Our address is 507 S Sunny Lane.
