1923 WSCO BALL TEAM PHOTO
The museum has a 1923 photo of the WSCO (Western Stoneware Co) ball team. During that era, area businesses sponsored teams that played other teams from regional businesses. Other local teams we are aware of was the Turnbull Undertakers representing Turnbull’s Funeral home and the Atlas’ representing the Monmouth Atlas newspaper. This team picture is the inspiration for a vintage ball game to be held the day of the Stoneware Fest & Swap Meet.
